We had jam packed, fun filled, family day! Daddy made a delicious pancake breakfast, and then we headed to SJR for the first football game of the season. It was a bit of a blowout. St. Joe's won 43-3. We had a great time at the game. I got to visit with my old cheering coach, Mrs. P, and after the game, the kids had fun running around on the field. Grace and Andrew were so happy that Uncle Denis, Genny Cakes, and Shane-o were there. They always have a blast playing together. Afterwards, we headed to Ramsey Day for some more entertainment. Grace had her face painted like a butterfly, and Andrew chose to have Elmo painted on his arm. Dan and I are enjoying every minute with our little sweethearts. It was cute watching their excitement as they got painted, and they were a riot on the dance floor. They danced, fist pumped, and played with balloons. Our little "kidoodles" certainly know how to have a good time. We ended the evening with a "family date night" to the Allendale Bar and Grill. Grace gobbled down her "hamguber," Andrew licked the ketchup off all of his french fries, and Dan and I enjoyed our prime ribs. We now have a new restaurant to add to our repertoire:-) It was a perfect day, and I'm happy I got to spend it with my favorite people!
Genny Cakes and Shane-o were dressed for the occasion. Grace wants to bring Andrew's Jet's helmet to the next game.
Without a doubt, Dynamite is Grace's favorite song! Can you tell?
