Christmas Spectacular

We've been enjoying lots of quality family time this past week! Today Dan and I took Grace and Andrew into NYC to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and LuLu and Pop babysat Kate. We had such a wonderful day together! We started our day at Macchiato (Daddy's favorite coffee shop) and then we headed to the show. Grace was fascinated by the Rockettes, and Andrew couldn't take his eyes off of Santa Claus. After the show, Grace had her photo taken with one of the Rockettes! She was so excited, and she's looking forward to showing her picture to Miss Sandi at dance class next week. We enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the city including the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Grace and Andrew's nap was extremely well timed this afternoon. Dan and I had my "new baby gift" sized at Cartier and then we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Fig and Olive. Our sweethearts woke up in time to see Betsey Johnson's Eloise' Christmas Tree at Plaza Hotel, which was pinkalicious! Before heading home, we stopped at FAO Schwarz, and Grace and Andrew each chose a lollipop at FAO Schweetz:-) We also visited Dan's new office and met some of his colleagues. It was an unforgettable afternoon, and we were happy to pick up our sweet baby girl on the way home! It has truly been a merry holiday season!

Fun with the Fritz Family

We had such a great visit with the Fritz family tonight! Grace and Andrew had fun playing with Sean and Ryan, and we were all happy to hear that they are expecting a baby in 2012! We enjoyed catching up with Duane and Jaime, and we feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

Klein Christmas Celebration

The Christmas season is still in full swing! We celebrated with the entire Klein family this morning! The children had a blast opening presents, playing together, and celebrating Genny's 6th birthday. We had lots of laughs, and everyone wanted a chance to hold baby Kate. Grace and Andrew were in their glory! They LOVE spending time with their cousins!

Our Merriest Christmas

Today was magical! It was a Christmas that Dan and I will never forget! Katherine was all smiles today, and I think she truly enjoyed her first Christmas! Grace and Andrew's eyes danced all day! From the moment they woke up until we left Nana and Grandpa's tonight... they were overcome with happiness! Santa surprised all of us with fabulous gifts, and everyone was extremely thoughtful and generous. We are so blessed to have such a loving family! We spent our morning opening presents, and hosting a fun-filled breakfast with LuLu, Pop, Nana, and Grandpa. Grace and Andrew loved playing with all their new gifts! Grace was amazed by princess castle and her "big girl bike," and Dan had so much fun watching her ride it outside. He said that he's never seen her so happy. Andrew received countless Toy Story gifts, and he was excited that the elves put together his Buzz car! If you ask him what he got for Christmas, he'll excitedly yell, "underpants!" I guess it's time to start potty training! During breakfast, we laughed over the jokes in our Christmas Crackers, which was a fun tradition to bring home with us from London. We spend our afternoon and evening at Nana and Grandpa's, and we tore through another spectacular round of presents! Nana and Grandpa outdid themselves again! We had a delicious meal, and Grace and Andrew enjoyed playing with their second cousins, James and Jenna. We had such a memorable day, and we look forward to celebrating Christmas with the Klein family in the morning!
