Pumpkin Picking Playdate

Our Monday playdate was extra special this afternoon! We met at Demarest Farms for a pumpkin picking hayride, and we were so happy that LuLu was able to join in the fun! When we arrived, the children enjoyed running through the hay and sticking their heads through all the halloween cardboard cutouts. Then we enjoyed a picturesque hayride to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, and we were surprised to find that they had farm animals roaming around. After each of our sweethearts picked their perfect pumpkin, we headed back to the farm stand for pizza, apple cider, and apple cider donuts. It was a beautiful day to spend outside, and when we returned home, we had fun putting out some of our Autumn decorations.
Cutest little Frankenstein and Dracula that I ever did see!
Love these kids!

It's beginning to look a lot like... Autumn!

World of Wings

Andrew and I had an amazing afternoon celebrating the birthday of his friend, Elyas, at World of Wings in Teaneck. I got to meet lots of his new classmates, and I enjoyed watching him interact with his school friends. When we arrived, we went straight to the exhibit area where Andrew had the chance to pet a python and bearded dragon! Then we headed to the butterfly atrium, and Andrew used his magnifying glass to inspect various types of beautiful butterflies!
He couldn't wait for his turn to pet the python.
There were so many different species of butterflies in the atrium.
Andrew was so excited when a butterfly crawled onto his finger, and he had the opportunity to examine it more closely.
There was all kinds of fun stuff upstairs... including a rock climbing wall.
Caterpillars turn into...
Butterflies! WOW!
We made some gigantic bubbles in the Bubble Room.
Before heading home, we made a second trip into the atrium.

He got the chance to hold a second butterfly!
I had such a memorable afternoon with my boyfriend!

Mahwah Day

We're loving our new town! Today we experienced our first Mahwah Day at Commodore Perry Field, and we were so happy that Nana, Grandpa, Aunt Dana, Uncle Vito, and Nicholas were there to enjoy it with us! There were tons of kiddie and pony rides, a stage with a variety of entertainment, and lots of delicious treats around each corner. We look forward to making this an annual tradition!

When we arrived, we enjoyed seeing some "Outragehisss Pets" on the stage.

Andrew was so happy that he got to see the clown, and he was crazy about his sword! Grace was happy with the pretty, pink balloon that she requested.
On Guard!
Grace amazed us with her rock climbing skills!
"All Aboard the Choo Choo Train!"
There were so many fun bounce houses!
Bumper Cars!
Grace and her favorite treat... PINK COTTON CANDY... Yum!
Andrew was mesmerized by the animals in the petting zoo.
Who needs rides when Uncle Vito is around?
