Knuffle Bunny

When I picked Andrew up from school on Tuesday afternoon, we found out that we were going to bring Knuffle Bunny home with us for the week! We enjoyed reading Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale by Mo Willems, and Andrew had lots of adventures with his little friend.

He taught "Snuffle Bunny" how to use his iPad mini.

He showed Knuffle Bunny his favorite book Jez Alborough's Where's My Teddy.

Knuffle Bunny helped Andrew and Grace build a tent!

They also had a sleepover!

We had a fun lunch date with Andrew and his karate buddies.

Knuffle Bunny saw Andrew earn his 4th stripe in karate class.

Andrew did such a wonderful job in karate this week! I'm such a proud Mommy!

Andrew brought Knuffle Bunny back to school this morning. We had so much fun adding to Group 2's Knuffle Bunny Binder.

Go for the Gold!

Grace received a beautiful red, white, and blue ribbon at the end of her gymnastics class today. She is going to begin working with the the 5-7 year olds next week, and we're doubling her practice time. Grace is showing a huge interest in gymnastics. She loves doing cartwheels all over the house, and she has made it known that the trampoline is her favorite piece of equipment at the gym. I didn't realize they were going to give out ribbons today. It was such a pleasant surprise! I thought it was a great way to recognize the hours of hard work and practice these little gymnasts have invested in bettering themselves. 

Grace was quick to strike a pose when she received her ribbon!

Grace, Olivia, and Madelyn! I love these three together! They have been friends since before they could walk and talk. 

Greenhouse Golf

It's freezing outside! So, we were happy to engage in a fun indoor activity! Danny and I had a wonderful time playing a round of miniature golf with Grace at Greenhouse Golf in Waldwick! Daddy and Grace both had hole in 1's, which added to the excitement! I look forward to playing another round soon!

An Interview with Kate

We're so impressed with our little Katie Kate! She learns something new each and every day! Katherine has started to put words together, and she loves showing off animal sounds. Her smile is contagious, and she is such a bright and happy baby! Here are some of her favorite tricks!

Hibernation Pajama Party!

Andrew got to wear his pajamas to Lollipop School the last two days in a row! They do so many exciting things in Group 2! Miss Victoria invited all of her students and their teddy bears to a Hibernation Pajama Party! Andrew was so happy to wear his Jake and the Neverland Pirate pjs yesterday, and today he wore Toy Story jammies! He even had a special snack... chocolate Teddy Grahams! Andrew and Teddy had lots of fun together this week!

I was so happy that Miss Victoria took some photos for me! It looks like Andrew and Teddy had a wonderful day!

Andrew made Teddy a special cave. Now, he's ready to hibernate!

We had a fabulous time celebrating Ava's 5th birthday at Bounce U last night!

Sweet 16

Our sweet angel turned 16 months old today! She brings us so much joy! Katherine is crazy about her big sister and big brother. She gets so excited to see them every morning and when we pick them up from school! She loves eating, being read to, splashing in the tubby, and anything that has to do with Dora the Explorer! Kurt Gallagher's "1234" is her favorite song. She loves music, and she looks so cute when she does the "hiney bop!" These past 16 months have flown by! I wish there was a way to make time slow down! Official Karate Student

Andrew felt much more comfortable at karate class this week! In fact, he LOVED it! He came out of class beaming, and he couldn't wait to show us everything he learned! So, I registered him, and he received his first karate uniform! I even bought him a Tiger's Claw t-shirt! I think karate is going to be a great experience for him!

Andrew is 3 and a Half!

Our Little Man is officially 3 and a HALF! When I was growing up, I always wished I could have a school birthday celebration, but with a Summer birthday, it wasn't an option. I've vowed to make sure that Andrew doesn't miss out on the fun. So, I brought Munchkins in for his class today. His teachers are so sweet and welcoming. Grace, Kate, and I were so happy to watch him enjoy his special snack with his classmates.

During the celebration, we listened to a special birthday CD, and Andrew was excited to blow out candles!

Miss Victoria is such a sweetheart! Grace enjoyed joining Group 2 for the party!

Fancy Grace's Soiree

Grace has been looking forward to her Sweet and Sassy Princess Soiree for weeks! She chose to have a Fancy Nancy theme, which worked out perfectly, because Grace and her friends looked like the fanciest five-year-olds imaginable! After each princess selected a gown, they received a princess make over that came complete with an up-do, manicure, and make-up application. Then they were off to the runway where they danced, had a princess fashion show, and received their princess certificates! Aunt Dana's cupcakes were exquisite, and the birthday cake was fabulous, too! We had so much fun watching Grace and her girlfriends get pampered! This party was fit for a princess!
