Recently, a sign up sheet went up in Grace's classroom for volunteers to come in and read to the children. I've been so excited to read to Grace and her classmates, and I was happy that I was able to come in for Read Across America Day. I read Dr. Seuss's Happy Birthday, BABY! in honor of his birthday, and since it's "Q Week", I also read Sarah Ferguson's Tea for Ruby, which is about a little girl that has been invited to have "tea with the Queen!" I loved having Grace sit next to me and turn the pages. It was such a joy be in her class this morning!
