Our sweet baby girl had her 2 year check up this morning with our favorite nurse practitioner, Janet! Kate received a great report, and everyone was impressed with how well behaved Kate was throughout the appointment. She's been to the doctor so many times with her big sister and brother that she knew just what to do. She was excited to get onto the scale, get measured (which was super cute because she kept stepping on her tippy toes), and take her eye test. She's our first child to hit the 50th and 60th percentile for height and weight. We are so blessed to have such a smart, healthy, and happy baby girl! Janet was amazed at how well Kate can express herself. She has been speaking in complete sentences for a long time now. We love hearing all that she has to say, and we're happy to answer all of her questions. Before leaving, I had them give Kate a throat culture, because poor Grace was just diagnosed with strep throat for the second time this month. So far, it looks like Kate's in the clear. She received her flu mist and lots of Dora and princess stickers! Hopefully, we won't have to visit the doctors office again until Kate's next well visit!
Kate was happy to receive a pirate eye patch! |
