Round Ball

Grace, Andrew, and Kate are so lucky to have a GREAT GRANDMOTHER:-) Nanny loves singing to her great grandchildren, and "Round Ball" is a special song that she has sung to each child! I'm happy we finally have it on video!
"Round Ball" wore our little cheerleader out:-)

Fresh Air

It's been such a mild Winter, which has allowed us to enjoy lots of time at Wood Dale Park with LuLu. We've been taking lots of walks, going to to the playground, and watching Grace ride her Tinkerbell scooter.
Kate loves going for walks, and she looks so cute all bundled up.
Andrew loves seeing all the ducks and geese! He always falls asleep during our walks.
While Andrew naps, Grace enjoys riding her scooter!

Grace's Screamin' Party

Grace's 4th Birthday Bonanza has officially come to a close, and we topped it off with a big celebration with Grace's friends and younger cousins at Screamin' Parties in Paramus! It was such a fun afternoon. All of the children played so well together, and Grace was in her glory! Aunt Dana made Grace the most beautiful princess castle birthday cake, and our little sweetheart was treated like royalty!
Grace's 1st guest to arrive!
The children were excited to line up for the second arena, which had the atomic ball blasters and interactive game floor, and so much more!
Thank you Aunt Dana!!!
Make a wish! xoxo

Mirror Image?

Every Wednesday morning, we head to LuLu and Pop's house after we drop Grace at Lollipop School. We have breakfast, and then LuLu babysits Katherine, while Andrew and I go to "library school." This morning Kate had an outfit malfunction, and we were afraid we were going to miss storytime. Luckily, LuLu saved some of Mommy's baby clothes, and Kate fit in one of my sleepers perfectly! Don't you think she looks a bit like her Mommy?

Hadley's 3rd Birthday

After a fun-filled afternoon playing in the snow, we headed to Hadley's festival themed 3rd birthday party at the Wyckoff YMCA. Grace and Andrew had been looking forward to it, but poor Andrew fell asleep on the hallway carpeting moments before we left (I guess he was truly wiped out). So, Daddy, Andrew, and Kate rested at home, and Grace and I had a girly afternoon together. She had fun bouncing, crafting a bead bracelet, making a sand art pendant, and celebrating the birthday of her favorite neighbor!

First Snow of 2012

It's always fun to wake up to snow on the ground! It has been such a mild Winter, and Grace and Andrew were so happy to play in the snow with their Daddy this afternoon! I enjoyed watching them make snow angels and throw snowballs at each other, but I was happy to stay in our warm home and cuddle with sweet baby Kate. When they came in from the snow, we greeted them with hot chocolate and marshmallows:-)

2.5 Years & 4 Months Old

My little man turned two and a half yesterday, and my baby is 4 months old today! We had a little celebration tonight (complete with Crumbs cupcakes)!
This photo captures them perfectly! Grace doting on Kate - Kate mesmerized by her older siblings - Andrew happily playing with his Toy Story figures.

Well Visits?

Today was a milestone for each of our children. We had Grace's 4 year, Andrew's 2.5 year, and Kate's 4 month well visits this morning. I was happy that Dan was off from work today to help us during the appointment. Grace is now 33 pounds and 39.25 inches. She was a superstar during her visit... shot and all! Andrew is 24 pounds and 34.5 inches. He did a great job with his sight and hearing tests. However, we were shocked to find out that he is in the 2nd percentile for weight. Dr. Berkowitz recommended that we give him a Pediasure every day and bring him back for a weigh-in in 2 months. Our sweet baby Kate is now 13 pounds, 9 ounces and 25.5 inches. We were disappointed to hear that she has a double ear infection! Our poor baby had been to the doctor twice recently due to her cough and runny nose. She even needed the nebulizer with albuterol, but we didn't realize she had an ear infection! She had been sleeping through the night and wasn't the slightest bit fussy. So, our well visits didn't turn out very "well" for Andrew and Kate! Andrew seems to like his chocolate Pediasure, but Katherine isn't fond of the amoxicillin that she will have to take the next 10 days:-(

Ava's Aeon Gymnastics Party

It's been Party Central around here lately! Grace had such a fabulous time celebrating her friend Ava's 4th birthday today. She bounced all over the gym and was happy to play with so many of her friends from Lollipop School.

"Muddy Puddles"

Our little London girl loves the show "Peppa Pig," and she has the British accent down to a tee. Occasionally, she likes to pretend that she is Peppa, and Andrew is her little brother George. Today they imitated Peppa and George splashing in muddy puddles. They're just too cute together. Poor Andrew had been pretty sick, since Sunday. He had a fever, runny nose, and cough. It felt good to see him energized, and he was so happy to test out his new rain boots!

4th Celebration!

We had another wonderful celebration in honor of Grace's 4th birthday at Nana and Grandpa's house tonight. I can't believe my baby is 4! I've actually been a little weepy about her turning 4. Time is going way too quickly, and she is such an amazing big girl! Aunt Dana bought her Goddaughter a beautiful PINKalicious cake from Riviera Bakery, and we had Grace's favorite meal tonight... Nana meatballs! Due to the fact that Kate and Andrew are a bit under the weather, we kept the party small, because we didn't want to share any germs. 4 parties for our 4 year old just isn't enough! Her birthday party with all of her friends is scheduled for the end of the month.

The Party Continues...

We had quite an eventful day, and we did a lot of celebrating! Dan, Kate, and I went to Chase Eller's Baptism, and Grace and Andrew had a fun afternoon playing at Nana and Grandpa's house. Afterwards, we headed to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Ronnie's for the "Colonna Cousin's Christmas Celebration." The children had a great time opening presents, and the adults had lots of laughs during our "White Elephant" gift exchange. Aunt Debbie threw in a couple of doozies, which will be remembered for years to come:-) We even celebrated Grace's birthday tonight! She is a birthday superstar!
