Story and a Snack in K-H

I was overjoyed that Mrs. Hoffmann invited me to read to Grace's class today! Grace and I selected two stories and we brought in apple cider donuts as a snack. The teacher in me chose P is for Pumpkin God's Harvest Alphabet by Kathy-Jo/Pang Wargin, but the children were clearly more interested in Grace's Disney Princess selection entitled Sweet and Spooky Halloween by RH Disney. It was nice to meet all of her classmates, and put faces to the names that I've been hearing since the start of the school year. I loved having my little sweetheart sit right next to me as I read. I hope to be invited for "Story and a Snack" again soon!
Apple Cider Donuts... YUM!

Pumpkin Picking at Lollipop

Lollipop School never ceases to amaze me! This year they built their very own pumpkin patch behind the school, and I was so happy to join in the pumpkin picking festivities! Andrew and I had such a wonderful time selecting and decorating our pumpkins! The teachers came up with all sorts of spooktacular Halloween games for the children to play, and we enjoyed a delicious snack complete with apple cider donuts! I loved having a little one-on-one time with my handsome, little pumpkin this morning!
It didn't take Andrew long to find the "perfect pumpkin!"
The pumpkin patch was beautifully decorated!

"Boo Bowling" was a hit! Andrew had a blast knocking down all the ghostly pins!
Andrew did a great job playing the "Candy Corn Ring Toss."
He also enjoyed the "Pumpkin Toss."
Andrew helped me pick "the tiniest pumpkin in the patch." It's super cute!
My little man ran very quickly through the "Witch Hat Run."
My favorite pumpkin in the patch!!!
We had so much fun decorating our pumpkins!
"Ta Da!"
We made a "baby boy" and "baby girl"pumpkin.

The teachers at Lollipop School are amazing! We're especially happy with Miss Nikki. Andrew always has so much to tell us when he comes home from school! He's having a great year, and Danny and I are so happy with all the progress that he is making!

DePiero's with Daddy!

It was so nice having Daddy and Grace home today! A special thanks to Christopher Columbus for making it possible for us to have a super fun family adventure at DePiero's Farm this afternoon. After enjoying a late lunch, we took a hayride to the pumpkin patch to find "the Mommy and Daddy pumpkins" for our front porch. We found two huge pumpkins, and we look forward to carving them in the upcoming weeks. It was a gorgeous afternoon, and we enjoyed visiting the animals and running through the hay maze. Autumn is such a beautiful time of year, and there's no place better to be on a Fall day than DePiero's Farm!
After she finished her lunch, Kate couldn't wait to sit on the elephant.
Can you tell that Grace enjoyed yesterday's performance of Angelina Ballerina the Musical? She had her Angelina ears on all day!

Angelina Ballerina the Musical

Grace and I had a "Ladies Day" with 2 of our favorite girls, Bella and Nicole Zingarelli! We headed down to the Morristown Performing Arts Center to see Angelina Ballerina the Musical! It was a one hour show, and the girls loved it! They happily watched it while wearing their Angelina ears and waving their sparkly wands. After the show, we caught a glimpse of the characters, and headed to Sweet Lucy's Bakery for some delicious treats! It was a memorable day! Nicole and I had so much fun with our little ballerinas!
Grace and Bella were happy to strike a pose in front of the MPAC.
Souvenirs!
The girls were happy that they got to see the characters up close!
These two love their Rainbow Loom bracelets! Bella made Grace a beautiful triple/single, and she presented it to her today! They looked so cute in their matching bracelets!

Andrew's 1st Baseball Award

Our future all-star just earned his first baseball award! He and Daddy just completed their first "Squirts Program" at Professional Baseball Instruction in Upper Saddle River! Dan is having so much fun watching Andrew develop baseball skills. Each week they focus on the fundamentals of hitting off a tee, throwing a baseball, fielding ground balls, and running the bases. Go Andrew! Keep up the good work! xoxo
Nana was so proud of her "Little Man!" As soon as the boys came home from baseball,  Dan and I headed to Lollipop School for Andrew's Back to School.
