Gold Medalist

After gymnastics today, we headed to Bookends in Ridgewood to meet Olympic Gold Medalist Gabrielle Douglas who won gold medals in both the individual and team all-around competitions at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London! Grace was so excited to meet a member of the U.S. Women's Gymnastic's Team, and she was elated when Gabby told her that she liked her leotard. Grace spent the rest of the evening looking through her new autographed book, "Raising the Bar."

Grace loved looking through her new book, which is like a scrapbook filled with Gabby's pictures, quotes, thoughts, and memories.

Safari Saturday

Jack McGuire celebrated his 4th birthday at Bounce Safari this afternoon, and we had a wild time! Grace and Andrew had fun bouncing, exploring, and spending time with their friends! It was a Scooby Doo theme, which excited Andrew. He's looking forward to planning his own Scooby Doo party in July.

Dora Drive

We had lots of fun at the Zingarelli's this afternoon. Kate was in her glory! She loved riding in the Dora car with Andrew, and she enjoyed playing with backpack and map! I'm so happy that I captured this video of my littlest sweethearts.

Tumble Buddies

Every Wednesday Kate and I look forward to going to our Tumbles class! She loves spending time with her best friends, Gavin, Jacqueline, and Ethan, and I always enjoy catching up with the other Mommies.

Playgroup Party

We had an Angry Bird celebration for our friend, Brady, at playgroup today. Nicole snapped this great picture of Grace and her best buddy, Bella! I love these two together!

Sweet Sydney is 2

We had such a nice morning celebrating the 2nd birthday of our sweet, little neighbor, Sydney at Van Saun Park. We had a blast on the carousel, on the choo choo train, and at the park! We're so fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors and friends!

After Sydney's party, Daddy took the girls to Planet Swirl, and I took Andrew to his friend, Loreli's birthday party at Glow.

These two couldn't get enough of each other today. They had an impromptu play date tonight at the Saxon house. Of course, they were dressed as princesses!

Fun Friday

Kindergarten Preparation

Before heading to Lollipop School this morning, we went to Our Lady of Mercy Academy for Grace's pre-kindergarten testing. My nursery school teacher, Mrs. Purtell, administered the test, and when they were finished she came out with a huge grin. She told me, and I quote, "Don't tell anyone I said this, but she's going to be the smartest one in the class!" I am such a proud Mamma! Grace answered every question correctly, and she was able to tell Mrs. Purtell her home phone and Mommy's cell phone numbers. What a wonderful way to start her journey at OLMA!

Eloise Dinner Party

After dance class, we headed to "Bella's House" for an Eloise Dinner Party! Nicole had everything set up so nicely. There were flowers, tiaras, handmade napkins, champagne glasses (for the children), and lots of delicious treats! Grace, Andrew, and Kate had so much fun with their friends, and they enjoyed playing with her big cousins, Sara and Ella. We had such a fun night with great friends!

Farewell Florida

We headed to Skully's 1st thing this morning so that Grace and Andrew could claim their spot on the ScoutAbout Wall of Fame. They also traded in their Discovery Bands for a super cool South Seas Island Resort bracelet.

We enjoyed as much fun in the sun as possible! We certainly made the most of our last day of vacation!

After the flight, we rode back home in style. Kate was psyched for her 1st ride in a limousine. 

Saturday at South Seas

We enjoyed a nice breakfast in our villa this morning.

It was a perfect morning for the beach. Grace and Andrew had so much fun building sand castles and splashing in the water.

After the beach, we headed for a trolley ride to our favorite pool at the resort.

Grace and Andrew completed the ScoutAbout challenge today!  They have collected all 15 Discovery Bands. They had the opportunity to explore exotic creatures, hidden secrets, and delightful discoveries of South Seas by uncovering fifteen Points of Discovery throughout the resort village's 330-acre wildlife preserve.

After completing the challenge, we headed to Scoops & Slices for some celebratory ice cream!

Before heading to RC Otter's for dinner, we caught our last sunset. It was a beautiful night!

We stopped at The Bubble Room on our way back to the Villa. Before calling it a night, we enjoyed 2 gigantic slices of cake on our screened in porch! It was the perfect ending to another perfect day!
