Our Star, Andrew!

This was a very exciting week for our little man at Lollipop School! He was "Star of the Week," and he enjoyed every moment! On Tuesday, he brought in his poster, which contained lots of fun facts and photos all about him. We had lots of fun making it together! When he walked into his classroom, Miss Victoria gave him a "Star Student" crown. On Wednesday, he brought in Scooby-Doo fruit snacks as a special treat to share with his friends, and on Thursday, LuLu and I went into his classroom to read his two favorite books Good Night Gorilla and It's the Bear. I've never seen him as excited as he was during the read aloud! I wish I was able to capture that moment on video, but it will be forever ingrained in my memory. Upon leaving the class Thursday morning, Miss Victoria gave Andrew a certificate, which we have hanging on our refrigerator. Uncle Vito said it best, "He's our star of every week!"
He was very proud of his artwork!

The King!
Look how excited he was when LuLu was reading to him and his classmates!
His poster was on display for all to see!

Disney on Ice ~ Rockin' Ever After

We had a ROCKIN' day at Disney on Ice! Grace and Andrew were so excited to spend the day with Olivia, Aunt Maylene, LuLu, and Mommy:-) We enjoyed the 11:00 show at Izod Center. Our little sweethearts were happy to see Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel, and Merida up close! Each number was fantastic. We loved the music, and we loved the hosts and hostess... Donald, Goofy, Micky, and Minnie! It was a great show, and afterward, we topped off our day with a delicious lunch at The Shannon Rose (compliments of LuLu). It is a day that we'll remember for EVER AFTER!
Grace wanted to wear a princess dress to Disney on Ice. Snow White, Olivia, and Andrew each brought a buddy with them. Grace's doll was also dressed as Snow White, and Andrew brought Woody along for the ride.
Prince Eric and Ariel
Flynn Rider and Rapunzel
During the intermission, Grace and Andrew enjoyed looking through their program and Disney on Ice coloring book.
Merida and Queen Elinor
Belle!
Andrew fell asleep during the car ride. After we brought him home,  the girls had an enjoyable afternoon at The Shannon Rose.

A Very Colonna Thanksgiving

Today we enjoyed another amazing Thanksgiving meal. This time we celebrated Colonna style! We are very blessed to have such an amazing chef in the family! Nana makes Sundays and the holidays special with her delicious meals. We loved spending time with the family and we shared lots of laughs. I'm very thankful that we had two Thanksgiving feasts this year!
Grace and Andrew had so much fun playing with their cousins James and Jenna.
Daddy helped Nana cut the bird.
Kate loved Aunt Dana's corn bread!
Daddy and Andrew couldn't wait for the dessert!
"Nana Rose" and Katherine Rose
Kate was so excited to have a "Nanny cookie" that she started fist pumping.
Cheese!
James was quite the comedian tonight!

J.J's 5th at Powerhouse Studios

We had a SUPERhero FUN morning celebrating Joey Jr.'s 5th birthday at Powerhouse Studios in Paramus. It was the ideal venue for such a huge superhero fan! Not only the guests meet Spiderman, but they also had the opportunity to play an Incredible Hulk game, shoot silly string webs, and learn superhero moves. There were countless activities for the children, and the parents enjoyed watching them as they limboed, crab walked, and relay raced! Grace was so happy that Joey picked her to be the captain during one of the games! It was a great party, and all 3 of the Colonna kiddoodles had a wonderful time!
The captains and Spiderman
Andrew loved playing all of the games, too! He was dressed in his Batman shirt for the occasion;-)

Buddy Returns

Hooray! Buddy the Elf has returned from the North Pole! He arrived this morning with a letter and gifts. Grace and Andrew were so excited to find him hiding on top of our round mirror. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!
"We found him!"
Buddy brought an ornament for each of our angels! Grace loved her Princess Tiara, Andrew enjoyed playing his woody guitar, and Kate is anxious to hang her Scooby ornament on the tree!
