Kylie ~ 1st Birthday Princess

Today we celebrated the 1st birthday of a very special little girl! Kylie looked absolutely gorgeous, and her party was sensational! Grace and Andrew had so much fun playing outside with all of the children, and Danny and I had a great time catching up with our friends, George and Natalie. It's amazing how much our lives have changed in the last 10 years. It doesn't seem that long ago that Natalie and I were teaching the fifth grade at Hubbard School. Now, we're both mommies... the best job in the world! We are so blessed to have the Baho's as our friends, and we wish Kylie all the best today and always!

Bossy Frog Band

Today we went to see The Bossy Frog Band play at the Nyack Farmer's Market. Grace enjoyed sitting next to her friend, Emma, and listening to all the songs (especially No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed). Andrew clapped his hands to the beat and bopped along with the music. We liked the band so much that we bought a new CD to add to our driving playlist, which includes endless Laurie Berker songs, the Jack's Big Music show CD, and a compilation of Miss Valerie's story time favorites.

After the show, the Bossy Frog gave stickers to his fans.

Swim Lesson Finale

Bernadette Grace made many milestones at swim lessons this summer with her amazing swim instructor, Melanie. Aunt Dana came to the final lesson today and watched all of Grace's tricks, which include jumping into the pool, blowing bubbles, going all the way under, and "swimming."

Grace received a lollipop for all of her hard work this summer.

7 Years of Wedded Bliss

Our dinner at the Colonna's was exceptional last night! We had an unexpected celebration for our 7 year anniversary after having a delicious surf and turf. Dana, Nanny, Poppy, and Terry joined us for a special dessert. Tonight, Dan and I continued the celebration at Cafe Panache. We count our blessings every day. We have made so many amazing memories these last 7 years, and we are so fortunate to be the parents of our two healthy, happy babies. We viewed our wedding video with Grace and Andrew when we got home. Grace called us Cinderella and Prince Charming. While watching, the four of us cuddled and danced. Dan and I enjoyed reminiscing the beautiful day that we became a family.

A Mommy Retreat ~ Newport

I've just returned from 2 very relaxing days in Newport, RI. Although I was weary about leaving Dan and my little sweethearts behind, I had such a wonderful time with Mary, Kim, and Gina. We couldn't have asked for better weather! We enjoyed two gorgeous days at the beach! We also spent some time shopping, touring, and walking throughout this gorgeous travel destination.

Jersey Shore

We've just returned from a gorgeous weekend down at the Jersey Shore. We always took forward to our visits at the Winard's beach house in Lavallette! We went for lots of walks, ate tons of crumb buns from Colonial Bakery, hit the boardwalk at Point Pleasant, and enjoyed some rest and relaxation on the beach!

Laura lights up our lives! We had a fabulous day, which was filled with fun activities including swimming, shopping for new Lilly attire, a pizza and ice cream date, and pampering!
