Memorial Day

We had a fun filled morning at the Memorial Day Parade with Uncle Denis, Aunt Mary, Jameson, Genny, and Shane. The children were happy to clap for everyone throughout the parade, and they were sure to get lots of candy from all the scouts. After the parade, we made our first visit of the season to the Park Ridge Pool. Grace had lots of fun swimming and eating ice cream with her cousins, and Andrew enjoyed watching the days happenings in Mommy's arms:-)

Splish Splash

Grace and Andrew were so excited to have their first swim of the season! We enjoyed some time at the pool this afternoon, and then we hosted a Memorial Day barbecue with Nana, Grandpa, LuLu, Pop, Poppy, Aunt Dana, and Vito.

Dress Up

Due to the fact that Dan is in Indianapolis for business, family date night turned into a Roxanne's date with Nana. Grace had such a great time going through Nana's purse...

Happy Birthday, Nana!

We decided to make the most of Nana's birthday! So, we kicked off the birthday festivities one day early. We met at Brooklyn's Pizzeria (our favorite family date night spot) for a delicious kid friendly meal. Afterwards, we continued the party at our house with some Crumbs cupcakes... yummy!!!

Exciting News

We received some very exciting news tonight... we found out that Aunt Dana and Vito are engaged, and Bernadette Grace was asked to be a flower girl in the wedding!

Wild Day

We had such a fun family day at the Van Saun Park Zoo. Grace and Andrew loved seeing all of the animals.

It's always fun when we get together with Mikey and his Mommy, Michelle! We had a fun afternoon at the park. As you can see from the photos... Grace loves her buddy!

Happy Birthday, Jameson!

Today our nephew, Jameson, turned 6 years old! Time flies... it doesn't seem that long ago that we were holding him in our arms for the very first time. Now, he's such a big boy! Jameson is already an awesome athlete! Dan was so proud of his Godson at his t-ball game tonight! After the game, Grace and Andrew posed for a group shot with their cousins:-)

Mother's Day

We had a fabulous brunch this morning at Denis and Mary's to celebrate Jameson's 6th birthday and Mother's Day.

Flashback to Mother's Day 2009 ~ It's hard to believe how much our lives have changed in the past year! Our little girl is getting so big, and Andrew has brought us so much happiness.

Let the Festivities Begin

Mother's Day arrived early in our house! Bernadette Grace woke me up this morning to inform me that it was "breakfast time." When I asked her what we would be eating, she informed me that we were having jelly beans. After a bit more prodding, she changed her mind to cupcakes, but it wasn't long before I smelt the coffee brewing and glorious aroma of waffles coming from the kitchen! My sweethearts also surprised me with the most beautiful locket, which came in a little blue box! Their Daddy certainly taught them how to shop!
We also had a fabulous afternoon celebrating Wally's First Holy Communion. It's always nice spending time with all the Kleins and watching the cousins play. We're looking forward to another exciting day tomorrow!

Matchy Matchy

Grace and Andrew looked so adorable today wearing their matching Polo outfits. Our Sunday was such a fun day! We didn't quite make it to the Hoboken Art and Music Festival, but we had lots of fun at Finch Park. Grace is fearless. She will climb to the top of anything at the park, and I often feel like my heart is in my throat! We enjoyed a nice Sunday dinner at Nana and Grandpa's, and the children had so much fun playing together in their tent and tunnel!

Back to Back Birthdays

We kicked off the weekend last night at Augustino's in Hoboken with Denis, Mary, and Eli Manning! You know you're in a great restaurant when the Super Bowl MVP is sitting at the table next to you:-) We had a fabulous night, and were truly relaxed knowing that our children were well cared for (my nephews and niece were with "LuLu," and Grace and Andrew enjoyed their night with Aunt Dana and Nana). It was fun reliving our past in Hoboken for a night!
Today we had another exciting day celebrating Grace's friend, Hudson's, 2nd birthday at Van Saun Park. The weather was absolutely gorgeous for an outdoor party. We had a wonderful afternoon with all of our Tumbles friends. Grace and Andrew enjoyed all the treats in their goody bags, which included tickets for the carousel and train. Grace also was ecstatic to have her very own train whistle. As Mary (from Jack's Big Music Show would say... "What a day!"
