Easter Morn

What a memorable morning! Our little honey bunnies, were so excited to follow the trail of eggs leading to their Easter Baskets. Before the hunt, everyone got dressed in their Easter best. I love dressing them up! They were filled with joy as they opened their baskets and found endless surprises! Dan and I enjoyed watching their eyes dance. Then, we headed to Presentation for a beautiful Mass, and I was filled with pride when numerous people told me how nice our children looked. It was the perfect start to our day!
"Follow that trail!"

Andrew was so happy that he received. "Snuffle Bunny" in his basket!
Grace received the book for her class mascot, too!
Chocolate Ballet Slippers!
A Chocolate Baseball Mitt and Ball! Wow, the Easter Bunny was fancy this year!
"Dorrrrrrra!"

Eggs To Dye For

Talk about last minute! We dyed a dozen Easter Eggs right before supper this evening. Grace and Andrew worked well together, and Kate acted as their supervisor. The eggs are so colorful, and some of them have Princess and Superman wraps! I'm sure the Easter Bunny will be impressed with all of their hard work!

Hoppy Celebration

The children in Group 2 at Lollipop School have begun to turn 4. Andrew had a wonderful time celebrating his friend Estella's birthday at Aeon Gymnastics this afternoon. He was dressed to impress... his "Chicks Dig Me" shirt was a hit! Andrew and his classmates had a blast trying out all the equipment in the gym. I enjoyed watching my Little Man play with all of the friends he made at school this year. He's fortunate to have so many sweet children in his class.

Festive Morning

We're gearing up for Easter Sunday! As we were heading to Church of the Presentation's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, we were greeted by one of our favorite neighbors... Stefano! He is such a sweetheart! He came bearing thoughtful Easter gifts for each of our children! They all received delicious treats, money for their piggy banks, and a special gift. Grace loves her musical ballerina jewelry box, Andrew can't wait to throw his new football with Daddy, and Kate is crazy about her Hello Kitty Easter Bunny (it's almost as big as her, and she carried it all over the house today). After a short visit with Stefano, we headed to Presentation to visit with the Easter Bunny and gather more special treats.

Kate loved wearing bunny ears. She tried desperately to keep them on her head, but they kept falling off.

Scooby Doo LIVE

We were out of commission this week as the stomach bug took our family by storm, so we were delighted to get out for a few hours to see Scooby Doo Live at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown. It was a spooky show, complete with a ghost, and we couldn't have had better seats! It was great seeing the cast up close. Grace and Andrew have been Scooby Doo fans ever since they watched their first episode with Grandpa. We had a memorable day! Danny and I enjoyed spending quality time with Grace and Andrew, and Kate was happy to have LuLu babysit her for a few hours.
Zoinks! We couldn't believe it when we saw The Mystery Machine parked right outside of the theater!
We saw a Scooby Doo lookalike outside of the show!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

We kicked off Grandpa's birthday festivities at Sunday dinner this evening. Grace, Andrew, and Katherine made a big fuss over Grandpa, and they were anxious to help him blow out his birthday candles! Happy (early) Birthday to one of our favorite men! We love you! xoxo

We hope all your wishes come true!
Kate couldn't wait to get her hands into that cake!

ichi, ni, san, shi, GO!

We had such a great time celebrating Luke's 5th birthday at Screamin' Parties this afternoon! Our favorite karate buddy, had a fun-filled Star War's themed party. It was an out of this world event! We're fortunate to have such wonderful friends!
Every time we go to Screamin' Parties, they have something new. This time Grace and Andrew enjoyed playing with the Digital Graffiti Wall. They used digital "spray cans" which looked real, but are really state-of-the-art infrared technology.
Ethan was quick to give Kate a hug as soon as he saw her. They are too cute together!
Kate loved the roller coaster!
Andrew had such a great time playing with his friend, Luke.
The kids had so much fun firing away with the Cannonball Airblasters!
