Story Time

We have been going to Story Time at the Montvale Library every Wednesday for months! We always have a wonderful time, and I find myself singing the songs all week long. Grace's favorite songs are The Ants Go Marching, Open Shut Them, and Popcorn. She also loves playing with the instruments, scarves, bubbles, and parachute!!! Andrew is an active participant of story time, too! He loves marching with Mommy to Little Red Caboose and passing the stick during Tingalayo. We can't wait until next time!!!

Andrew's First Tooth!

This was a very exciting day for our little man!!! He cut his very first tooth. We were very nervous yesterday when he had a 103 degree fever, but the doctor gave him a clean bill of health today! Hopefully, he won't run such a high fever next time! It's hard to believe that Andrew is getting to be such a big boy! He has had so many milestones this past month. Our little guys is very active. He army crawls all over the place, pulls to standing, and has fun playing with all of his toys:-)

Grandpa's Birthday Bonanza!

It's nice when Grandpa's birthday falls on a Friday, because we were able to celebrate all weekend! We kicked off the weekend on Friday night with one of Nana's fabulous birthday feasts! The children had a fantastic night playing with their grandparents, singing to grandpa, and blowing out the candles!!! On Sunday, we had another celebration after a delicious Palm Sunday dinner. We never tire of birthday parties!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an "egg"cellent time this morning at the Tice's Corner Easter Egg Hunt! We traveled from store to store in search of Easter eggs and the Easter Bunny!!! Grace and Andrew were so happy when they found him hiding in Game Stop! Numerous pictures were taken and the children each received their first Pez Dispensers:-) We'll be sure to head to all of the activities that Tice's Corner sponsors in the future... there was a bounce house, raffles, and lots of fun surprises!!!

Spring is in the Air

The weather was so gorgeous today that we decided to have a Family Fun Day at Van Saun Park! It was so nice to be outdoors. The children enjoyed seeing all of the animals... especially the monkeys!

Swinging in the Sunshine

After all the snow that we've had this Winter, it was so nice to get back to Wood Dale Park! We've been feeling a bit of cabin fever, and now, we are just so excited for Spring to come our way! Andrew had such a great time on the swings. He smiled and giggled the entire time:-) He is such a little sweetheart, and Grace is crazy about her baby brother! Grace had a wonderful time walking around the pond... she quacked at the ducks, honked at the geese, and ran for the playground! Although, it was a gorgeous day the ground was still incredibly wet, and Grace got her new sparkle sneakers pretty muddy:-) It was a fabulous family day!!! We're looking forward to some beautiful weather in the upcoming week.
